I bought him like this, with almost no barbel at all. I figure due to the lack of space to turn in his original tank that, that rubbed off his barbels. Both are still there but has no length to it, so I figure it will grow back a little.
Raising a fish from young is more rewarding but that is why I still have one of my Juvi Silver.
What are the chances of a 20" Silver developing DE now? Little to none?
He has not yet eaten anything so far....hopefully he pulls through with his new setting.
Same one!
I couldn't let this beautiful beast get out of my grasp! Just too perfect, currently is being treated with ICK.
But healing up fine and seems to be very active. When did you see it? How long was it in the 40 breeder, you know? When I saw it, there was a little girl who kept dropping whatever she was dropping in the tank.----> To her parents!
I saw it the day it was traded in which was like ~2 weeks ago. 2 guys traded the silver aro for the 2 medium sized peacock bass located near the discus tanks. The silver was going to be put in the pond with the 2 Jardinis but it wasn't.
Good thing you picked it up, because it was placed in a 40 breeder tank.
