I got one when it was 3inches and in just over a year, it grew to 23inches. Sad I had to get rid of it as it was outgrowing my 190gal tank(I also had 4 plecos over 16inches in the tank).

I've seen this fish @ 6feet in a zoo before. Shame, I would have kept him had he not grown anymore
