NEW PICKUP Acarichthys Heckelii

I finally picked up a proper sized female for my male to enjoy. Very healthy and pretty fat. Could not help but snap a couple sneak peak pics while she was acclimating. She is in the tank now and the male is going nuts trying to impress her.

The males will by age get a more "solid" forehead and give a more masculine impression than females. Also the male will get much longer (and normally) more red filaments of the dorsal fin. This is my best guess but the behavior between the two so far firms up that I have a male and female even if I have them swapped.

Thanks guys. My tanks are in chaos right now. I have "most" of the stock I want but they are spread between 2 tanks with 1 more coming. I'll get some FTS put together soon.

One day I will get a camera that sucks marginally less, sorry guys.... I can't get very good shots of fish when they go deep in the tank. It makes them look allot smaller than they are as well.

The male is the one flaring in all the pics below, the female with the vertical barring showing because she is stressed. Shes will color up nicely by tomorrow.
