new pickup ID and Q's

i have 2 filters and i never clean one of them just for bio. the other i try to keep relatively clean, i think its excess algea bloom possibly. i need a UV sterilizer for this tank.
 
get a UV sterilizer to help with the cloudy water. trust me. i have one on my 300 gallon and 90 and works great
 
I'm going with 2 orinos, because if you look at the first pic the bass that is looking down, you can see the bars or whatever you wanna call it, it has the gold surrounding it. Look closely and the 2nd do the same. Look at the bars it has color around them too.
 
They are not orinos. They are farmies. If it is sold as "Peacock bass" it is most likely just the mono/ocell hybrid. Plain and simple. I have worked in and around fish stores for years and if they were orinos they would be posted as orinos just because they are priced differently. Now is there a chance that they come in as different species occasionally? Yes it happens. But those are farmies there. Also OP do not take that as a bad thing. There are a lot of farmies that turn out to be some true stunners.
