New pickup ID?

Really want better, more clear pics that show true color and belly pattern... Everyone jumps immediately to corn but the pattern and colorization just seems a bit off...

Great Plains Ratsnake, or a Colorado Spotted Rat ( Isolated version of a Great Plains Rat ).......Not a Corn Snake......

When I first saw it, my initial thought was "corn snake!" But I found a species list for the area and corn snakes weren't on it. Now I really think it is a Great Plains Ratsnake, but I will get better pics for you guys later.

Great Plains Ratsnake - the checkered belly is the give away.

these must have been reclassified recently, they used to be a subspcies of corn snake (Elaphe guttata emoryi) but I guess when they changed new world Elaphae's to Pantherophis they gave it specie status (Pantherophis emoryi).

Anyways, it is the same care as a corn snake. good luck with it!
