Dude, I have 11 orinos and 2 monos. I was just under estimating how many for 1 tank.

byrant, maybe try posting an id thread over in the natives section? theres some real minnow heads over there....

im gonna check fishbase for possible members of the "smelt" family that venture into freshwater....whats worse is that they might not even be a native species to where you collected them....california has very few native freshwater species.....

i really wanna know what they are tho
