Love ... gorgeous ... the eyelash vipers are really the only hot snake I would ever consider ... what is their venom like? Ie require medical attention or just a lot of pain? Just curious
They are finger rotters for sure. I would never suggest taking a bite from a hot snake and not going to the hospital. At the very least sit and wait in the waiting room to see if you need medical attention or not. Their bite is hemotoxic and often results in large blood blisters, painful swelling, nausea/ vomiting, and localized areas of necrosis. There are some people that do not react much at all (most likely due to the fact that it was a dry bite) and have compared a bite from one of them to a mosquito bite. Not something I would risk though. I do not plan on ever getting bit by any of mine.
