I picked up this known breeding pair of jewels today. I believe that they are hemichromis lifalili. I only paid $12 for the pair. I thought it was a decent deal. Well, here they are:

Thanks Opiate. I had to let the G/F pick out something "pretty". I may have pushed her in their direction a little . They're mean little suckers. They killed a few of their tankmates @ the LFS before being quarantined.

LOL. I believe it, but they are all alone. Nothing to kill. They are really smart though. I just fed them some HBH pellets, and they picked the first few off the surface. The rest sank to the bottom, and they just looked at me like, "Where's the rest?" I put my finger in front of them and drug it down the glass to where the rest of the pellets were, and they happily followed it and started picking the rest off the bottom. Very responsive fish, and fearless as well.

i love jewel cichlids. i'm not going to lie, i ahve some of the nicest jewels i have ever seen, but yours are very nice too. maybe second best lol
