Not yet, I figure they will probably take a week or so to get settled in. I'm not really sure on the breeding habits of jewels though. Are they substrate breeders or something else?

the last 2 pics look like a female. i go by body shape, as i have always found females to be rounder, and males have a bit of a nuchal hump

Well, my girlfriend sent me a text at work claiming that her jewels had procreated.

I will check this out when I get home and post updates if necessary.

In the common jewel the female has more red in the gill area, the male has the blue .. not sure if that holds true with lifalili or not though.
