he is just nuts... chases fish double his size (put him with a bigger fish for less than 5 minutes) but he flees when he sees me... he eats the food i throw in only after i leave

what kind of food are you putting now
try meaty foods like chicken heart or beef heart
once they eat that they will want more and you are the only source so..........

Great fish looks like its got a nice humpy dumpy already not much red but hey who needs red its unique in its own right. I love how it looks and hope you enjoy each moment you share growing it up to be a beauty. =)
