Went to LFS I used to work at and picked up the medication I needed, and I decided to get this little 2" female and grow her out in her own tank. Also picked up a Nicaraguense as well which they were keeping with her as a tankmate but he's hiding for now so no pic of him. I took a bunch of Convict fry and added them to the tank as "Dithers" and they actually seemed happier without the Convicts before I added them, ironically. Maybe I put too many in even though the biggest are still only about 3/4", but whatever, they'll grow and i'll sell them later on w/ the rest of my fry. SHe will likely stay in her own tank for the next 2 years until....IF I decide to breed her w/ my male and make Wolf-cubs :D

definitely had some nice catfish - beautiful TSNs Barred I think (the smallest species), also IIRC a Fenestratus or Bifasciatus, Cutteri, 2 HUGE Red Atabapos, Panda Uarus, Various size Severums (one John said was a special strain), Red Dragon FH, Geophagus labiatus, and some other Geos, all-white HRPs (big and husky), and some other stuff and if you go there now you can get the gorgeous male Dovii I traded in, 2 male Honduran Jaguars, and 2 male Jack Dempseys that I personally raised and a bunch more stuff I forget

Just ask for John, Matt, Wayne or Dennis and tell them you're a good friend of Eric that used to work there ;) They'll take good care of you

EDIT: They have at least halfa dozen Tiger Datnoid juveniles too, probably in the 4-6" range for cheap too

unfortunately i think this one is turning out to be male.....spots have developed on the dorsal and on the upper-half of the body above the lateral line. Lousy pics, but he's unbelievably finicky when he sees the camera for some reason

Looks male to me from what I can see
yea, I been thinking that lately......I guess i'm going back to the drawing board a 4th time to try and find a female. I bught 2 the 1st time, both ended up being males, so I sold one back, and got this one, so now the next one will be my 4th Dovii in search of a female. Friggin ridiculous. Same happened w/ the Motaguas but they sold out before I could get back to buy a new one
