Thanks for your comment. Unungy has one similar to mine that he got in on a shipment. Not sure if his was wild caught or captive-bred. Curious if he can comment on the subject.There are hybrid leprocanthis running around now... so be aware of that, that being said i ve never seen a l114 with a full orange tail, either way it's a georgeous fis.

From reading different sources, head spots seems to be the general way of determining the difference between the two. Not tail fin or dorsal fin. Thank you for confirming.Nope, it's L114. For L600, the spots on the head are a lot smaller or "muddier." The spots are about the same size throughout the body, so L114.
