Also another question. How do you find they go with plants?yours seem to be not wrecking them so what sort of plants would you recommend?
Well when I reading up on them I saw mixed opinions on that. So far they have been perfect in my tank. I still consider myself new to plants but I have learned quite a bit and now I try to use them everywhere possible. It kinda depends on your water and setup. I have low tech, no c02, with fluval 3.0 on two tanks. The rest have cheap lighting. I used easy green for a while but I haven't been fertilizing for some time. Growth is slower but the plants seem to be doing fine otherwise.
What I did at the beginning was watch a lot of videos and pick up any plants I saw locally that were considered easy plants and I experimented to see what worked for me. For me Rotala indica, dwarf sagitarria, and crypt wendtii, anubias, amazon swords, and java fern, have all been pretty bulletproof. I have crypt spiralis and crypt balansae also but they have been a bit slower growing. Hygrophila pinitifida failed for me twice but one small piece was saved the second time and it is now doing quite well in my shrimp tank for whatever reason and is now throwing baby plants. For floating plants hornwort and dwarf water lettuce are both amazing. You just have be careful not to let it choke the light out from the rest of the tank. I use hornwort in tank with cichlids that uproot plants and move substrate, they dont seem to bother it much, but many will pick the roots off of water lettuce which kills it off. I've also had great success using pothos and wandering jew plants growing out of the back of a couple tanks. All my plants started from one main planted tank and I've just been farming them out from there over time so it's all been free since then.

I picked up a male female pair of Cuban cichlids and three Rainbow cichlids from Tangled up in Cichlids and could not be happier! Anybody considering ordering fish should check them out! Kevin's packing methods are incredible! The Cubans are in their own tank with no dithers and were still being shy, so these pics are from day one. The pics of the Rainbow cichlids are from day two and already showing great color! Will try to update with better pics!

Did you ask Kevin from tuic that you wanted a male and female or were you just lucky ?

Yeah I did tell him that my goal was to get a pair. I considered buying four, but decided to take my chances with three.
