New pickups: Leopard Ctenopoma, Red Crayfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Update: I thought these crays were to big for my bass, but after looking tonight, there is only one left. I misjudged the ]v[onstrosity of my bass.

I have 3 x 4" Leopard Ctenopomas Mine are now eating live fish, raw fish strips and earth worms. The eat like pigs everyday. Mine almost choke, they go after the food the 5" thin bar dats eats. I have two of them in with the Dats and they are with the bid 9" Dat. They all get along great.

One thing I noticed as they got bigger, their face started gettign a "Green" tint. I have never seem them with greenish tinted scales on the face before. But these guys seem to grow fast. I've had mine about 7 months and when I got them they were about 1" now they are pretty big being what they are and all.

Glad they grow fast, I want these little guys to move to a display tank.

They lose a bit of contrast in their spots I've noticed when they get bigger. But they get green in their face when they get larger. Check out the picts. I posted them in the lounge.. didn't want to jack your thread. The Dats get along with them great FYI. That thinbar of yours should do fine with them once they get alittle size on them
