Keep it moist. that is about all there is to keeping an emperor. No there is no problem with holding them by the tail if you do so gently.
 
Alright, hes on coco fiber as of now. Its mostly dry, a little damp. Ill wet it down a bit more
 
God I guess I will. I brought a few snakes into school today to educate kids on how cool snakes are, and dang people love seeing me get bit by my atb lol :p got tagged at least nine times! I already want another! Also I will get some pics up soon. My snake room has terrble lighting.
