The discus have been in the tank with the aro now for 3 months. I had to reduce stock though, 15" TT eel, 4 yo yo loaches, 3 blue botias, mated pair discus, and a few small FM and con fry. The bioload was too much, I was losing the battle with the algae. This along with reducing the light, and adding more home brew C02, I've got the algae in check(well for the last couple of weeks anyway).
I saw Aro (Asian though) and Discus first in Frank from the Netherlands tank - on his homepage.
Looks pretty good with your Black as well.
How on earth do those cardinals survive?!
