Nice cichlids, where did you buy your dovii?

I got him from Aquatropics (Dundas and Keele). I just stopped there and saw a nice one the same size as mine. If you go there, tell them I sent ya!

did you raise that convivct? how long did it take to get up to that size?

I raised him from about 3/4". I've had him a couple years and he's about 4" now. When kept with only subdominant males he used to look like this:

After breeding him I haven't been able to get his head to come back like this.

I'm using a Canon EOS 30D most of the time. The last convict shot was with a Fuji S602 zoom.
