the barra keeps hiding because hes scared of the nile perch.
but they dont really fight too much.
thats why im looking for smaller nile perch to trade with the big one i have.
i would love to have some chinese perch as well.
but can find any here.

Yeah the Barra probably will hide quite a bit.... it's just a size thing I think.

im in the process of getting the barra some friends.
but all the ones at the lfs look sick or weak.

Yeah I wouldn't risk getting any sick ones... if you do just quarantine them for a bit.

Can you get them reasonably cheap or are they pretty expensive?
I hate buying expensive fish just to have them die on you.
