cool...... question though. I notice that many people that have aros and cats tend to leave the bottom bare. is this personal taste or are there benefits?

Pretty much personal taste. The only true advantage is you can tell when the tank is getting nasty. Because there's no gravel ect... It makes cleaning a lot more simple. And with a huge Bio load it has it's advantages i guess. But to each there own.

Liz you just far to kind! The Cat's are Tigrinus, One 7'' the larger one is 20'' plus. I'm working on some decent pic's one of these day's.

I wish the tank was up aswell. I never seen it in person. But i'm sure you'll have something new soon.
