how big is yours simon? how often you feed? the first 3 yrs or so i was feeding probably 5 day sa week. its easy when all you have to do is throw in reptomin or trout chow. (he ate a ton of other stuff too lol) for the last 3-5 yrs thoug hi only really feed about twice a week. and actually over the last two yrs sometimes i will feed only once a week. last winter/spring i had heater probs and water temp in the basement got to upper 50s to only 62 for a couple months so i didnt feed hardly anything during that time. i think the fast growth probably can be linked to the constant warm water temps, kept his metabolism high. reptiles seem to put on quick growth over their first few yrs anyways. plus in capitivity with constant food and like i said constant water temps..... he is the only one of 2 that are still alive after the initial 5 or 6. and he is about 5-6 inches bigger then the other one thats still kicking. idk lol started to ramble a little, BUT I LIKE HIM! haha

He's about 8-9" shell length. I keep mine fairly cool (72-75) and do a big feeding once or twice a week. I don't really want him growing too big, too quick lol.
