they'll eat your spixie snail. i put the last 40 of my breeders in my tank and over the last 6 months im down to 3

They haven't bothered my snail yet, the fry anyway. I moved the snail from the 125 because the auratus liked to nip at it.

Do you know what sex your Nimbochromis venustrus is ?? I have one too.. yours is a beautie and love all your set up ..

No, not yet. I'm going to say it's a female because it hasn't gotten the blue face that a male has. It has gotten REALLY big in comparison to the other fish (amazing it used to be the runt of the group). It's really my favorite fish of all of them because of how big it is.

i would say it is female then.. how old is it..just curious how long it took to grpw.. what is it about 4 inches?

I got it when it was about an inch, and was the runt of the tank. It's about 3-4 now and I've only had it about 6 months or less.
