One of the cleanest and nicest looking Red Bellied Pacu ive seen on this board! :D Very Cool! I miss my 9"er which I had last yr...=/ I'll be getting another Pacu soo though :) Great pics of yur pacu, pacu at its finest!
 
Holy Porkchop Pacu! Look at the shoulders on that thing, he's a beast! Great pics btw
 
aww... he's adorable...i just love that little face...i like how hes soooo plump...needs a red hat and a beard......

Yeah-I kinda jumped the gun their......My bad------Very well could have ment that.


If that is the case-

It was basically a mishap buy.....I too did not know just how big they got.But I ended up buying it anyhow----Brought the little guy home at the 1.5 inch mark and went from their---Started hand feeding the guy and the personality just started to come through...It's nice being able to pet ones fish.....Interact with it...I have even played with a submersible submarine with him in his tanks---He just folows it around checking it out and ramming it every now and then.....Feeding time is a sight to see with these guys-The food it can pack away is unreal...It just kinda grew on me the more i have kept it-----

And the more I have kept it and the more I have viewed other's Pacu's----I find that I simply have one of the nicest ones around.....I have thought about killing the fish on more than several occasions-But it's the one fish that continue's to stay with me throughout everything....Now he is part of my family and after buying a $3000 tank to house this darn guy in-I will make a point to raise it the longest I can....Or until it outgrows my setup---

Then i have no clue on what will be done.....Maybe try to talk my buddie out of his 1000 gal tank.....But who knows-He doesn't seem to want to part with that...

Anyhow-Sorry If I did come across rude-----One has to understand just how much **** they take for keeping a Pacu----But mine kinda speaks for itself....
 
no one knows how totally fantastic and uplifting it is to own a pacu... until you own one... they are full of personality more then any other fish i have owned... and yours is spectaculiar........ fat big gentle giant.. huggable as can be!!!:D:D
