These pictures came out alot better.. most are not so clear... for some reason he is harder to photograph..:) Oddball {Phil} i hope you see these new pictures..Liz

yes but those are centapede knife fish..mine has the regular flowing fins underneath:headbang2 .. but thanks for looking.. ,,,:nilly: :) :grinno: see in pic of mine you can see lightly that it has flowing underneath fins.. no little catepilla legs..miles if you see this again.. what is the care of these..are these aggressive like carapo.. mine seems very sweet and shy..

the story is ..i walked into the LFS just as the wholesaler had delivered new fish.. Mason the manager who knows us well handed me the bag with this guy in it.. he said heres one for you..after looking at him i said i will take him.. i fiigured how often does something different come in to LFS by chance.. on the bag was typed Tigre kinfe.. but if you look at the tigre knife they do not have the same pattern, but i have to think he is definitly close to tigre..but very little info for me to compare much...because those are rare too:nilly:
 
This is all i could find on the Tiger knife fish also known as barred knife and elegant knife (steatogenys elegan}. Here is picture..
