dude i never said they were a special breed ........i used the word brew which is entirely different alltogher.....and thanks for the observation i think it looks like a mono too...read my above post to see whay i meant by brew and not breed which in turn shouldnt be breed in this context and should be used as specie or subspecie.....theyre fish not dogs.

nice florida peas...like the 2 1/2 spotter....by the way they are ocellaris and contriversially paul shafland mix breeds ...often refered to in the florida area as butterfly bass(not to be confused with SA orinocensis reference). I have several cutler ocellaris myself

d--mack you hit the nail on the head. I was reading about that the other night and thats what makes their patterns and colors differ from one fish to the other...I have one that is three and a half stripes on one side and two spotted on the other....
