Of the new Aul. jacobfreibergi Otter Point and my other little guys!

Quick edit: No fish in these pictures with the exception of one of my Neo. pulcher is over 2 inches, they're all in a 75g tank and I know I'm going to have to separate them eventually :).

The pictures kind of suck, any advice on taking better ones? I've messed around with the settings on the camera a bit but it didn't really seem to help.

I have a total algae infestation in my sand right now, which is why you don't see full tank shots haha. I'm going to siphon it out later today then I'll post more pics.

The rockwork in that tank looks very good. That said, and honestly i like it very muchLOL, it looks like there are many sharp edges with it. Frontosa have a reputation for severe injuries from sharp rocks in the tank. Fronts have even been known to be so bad about it that they can kill themselves with out touching a rock by simply freaking out and ramming headfirst at 90 MPH into the glass. I have seen many pics of gross slashes on the bodies and empty eye sockets from sharp rocks. Just thought i would point that out to ya since they look so nice and are typically a very expensive fish. I only put rounded rocks in my tank and even then the other day i had a juvie with what i thought was a parasite dangling from its eyeball. Turns out it was a nasty deep gouge on its face that had a long strip of ripped off skin trailing behind it like a flag.

Thanks for the heads up on the rock, I'm pretty sure that's how my other front died. I'm actually going to be getting rid of the fronts I have, because I like the cyprichromis and I'm crazy enough to try to keep aulonocaras and cyps together :D. I'm actually thinking that the aulono/cyp combo will work. The fish seem to occupy two seperate areas in the aquarium as it is right now, and I don't think the aulonocara will get big enough to eat them. My latest concern is growth rate differences ;).

I like the Cyps too. This will be blasphemy on this board, but I'm just not a big Front fan....

I wasn't a big front fan, then I got some and I do find them cool, but I just like the cyprichromis more. I'll probably get fronts down the road when I'm out of college and have my own house with about 10,000 gallons worth of aquariums :D.
