i believe they can get about a foot long. heres another bad pic that shows a little more color. still doesnt do justice lol

lol he looks nice but you might want to just get another pike and not a bowfin. bowfin'll get 3' long and he'd probably eat your pike

the bowfin is a male so wont get 3' and is about an inch shorter than the pike right now. if i can find a place to put it i might have a 500 gallon available to me that should suit the two of them well or just the bowfin. i really havent decided exactly what the plan is though. but since finding the pikes a female ive been strongly considering a male pike.
