Hey all! I just got a pipa pipa a few days ago. Aptly named "Leaf" Thought that I would share a couple of pics. Enjoy!

I've seen them on Animal Planet. They seem interesting. How big do they get?

That's the same as a Surinam toad, right? Where the young come out of the mother's back?

Yes, the young do come out of the female's back. Mine is close to being about 5 inches long. It is a Surinam toad. Pipa Pipa being the scientific name. I have several frogs & fish, but this is by far one of the coolest things I have ever ran into at my lfs, so I just had to have it. I eventually want two of them.

Nice pickup. I have always wanted one of those guys. There just such interesting animals.
