i disagree DMONEY09 just because you have 5 in a 55 gallon doesnt mean you have 5 healthy full grown fish. Do you? i think thats it's never a good idea to overstock piranha because even know they are a shoaling fish they are still a very territorial fish and for the p's to grow and thrive in a healthy shoal more space is needed.

I like the set up! how big are they?? if there are no signs of aggression u can keep em a bit longer
