New Piranha tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's funny how you tell other people you need a tank that's 6 or 8x3x3 for only 7reds and you 5 in a tank half that size.

20 gallons per red is usually a minimum baseline. His 120 is sufficient for 5 reds. Not sure what he has suggested in other threads, though.

I think you misunderstood what I said.
I have 5 reds and for them i have a 120g.

that person is going to buy 20 reds and i said for 20 reds need 8*3*3 or 8*3*2

That other thread was confusing so a misinformed post is likely....

Still would like to see the filtration other then a bubble stone!

Congrats on a nice setup

Did I understand you correctly that tank has been set up for less than one week? If so, then take care with your bio load with these guys because your tank needs to cycle first...

Good luck

Nice work! I applaud your decision to buy a large enough tank first, before they outgrow something smaller. There are a lot of people who buy small first, then have monetary issues down the road when they should be upgrading tanks. It looks great!
