My wife just got him for my b-day from our local animal shelter. stomach is a little distended but a little TLC and he will be in great shape (i hope). This little guy was a victim of animal cruelty and confiscated and taken to animal control.

His name will be Bubba. My other dog's name is Gump (i'm a big Forrest Gump fan)

He will be home on Wednesday. My wife signed the papers today and we pick him up at the neuter clinic on Wed. Really excited. I was under the impression that he would come home today, but I can wait til Wed I suppose.
 
Awww, he looks so happy! I love the ears and eyes, they really make his personality glow.
 
congratz Jo!!!! That pup is too cute. I have a pit too. Her name is "Drama". Get ready bud they are a ton'O'fun. That was really cool of you and the wife to do the rescue. We did the same thing and I will never regret it.
