im debating glass or acrylic..

Seriously? I would think acrylic since it's crystal clear, most aquariums use that green tinge glass and that would distort the color of the barra a bit.

But I think glasscages has some tanks with the front pane made of 'starfire' glass or something, and it's supposed to be super clear.

best of luck whatever you choose.

I'm off to work, ttyl

black is alot nicer blue sucks.... i hate the blue background on my tank.....

but when you say black on black does this mean you will have substrate in your tank li???? no barebottom?

with just 2 barras I would do acrylic and barebottom. Not much chance of it getting scratched, and tank will look great! Why don't you like blue back? Have you seen that black bottom some people use? That looks NIIIIICEEE!

yeah.. the thing is i want a 2k tank... 2k glass will be stupid-heavy...

As you said Stupid Heavy but I agree with what you told me about worrying about scratches and how much better glass looks..

scratches can be easily taken care of....

i still do not know which of the barras I prefer..I lean to the golden one!

Definitely black on black!
