I have always heard that the differnce between Indos and Pulchers were there tail stripes. Indos have two tail strips on the caudal peduncle that are approximatly the same size, correct? Also the first stripe in towards the body is complete from top to bottom. Pulchers on the other hand have a one stripe (the stripe closest to the end of the tail) thinner and then the next stripe is thicker. Next the first body stripe in tends to be incomplete and/or angle back and connect with the two stripes on the caudal peduncal. Also is there any DNA evidence that these fish are indeed two different species?
So saying that you have a mix of D. Microlepis and D. Pulchers correct?
First fish is D. Pulcher and second is D. Microlepis?
