i always wanted a stingray, but i guess the flounder can just help me take my mind off stingray... or....can practice taking care of some flat pancakes ^^"

Freshwater Flounder is actually a brackish water Sole, the Hogchoker. It's actually a pretty common catch in sandy bays up here in NY. There are freshwater Flounder, but they're from the Amazon.

The ones caught in NY are true flounders, not sole.
