Heres a few pics I could get of the new Planiceps. They are only about 1.2-2" so pics aren't easy. They really resemble a TSN and a RTC but with dumbo like fins. They do quite a bit of mid and top water swimmming and only hit the bottom to eat. They show no interest in anything other than live bloodworms but thats OK, I'm sure they will come around to other things as they get bigger. They also tend to lunge at their prey much like a TSN. Skinny little fish with big fins
I have one in a growout 125 with the small "free" RTC and my TSN x Niger, another is in a 20 gallon sump fed holding tank, and I'm bringing the third to school to grow out in a community 55. This way all three will be in different systems and I can keep tabs on them under different conditions. Hopefully these guys grow as large as people claim, so they can be housed with my other large cats. My dream........................ One big waterchange
