nice setup. I like the rams. never been able to keep mine alive for long

yea they can be quite sensitive, but if youve got the right conditions they'll thrive

Looks great. I saw that youre running a w/d. I wouldnt bother with the CO2 if you want to keep the filter. Your overflow and trickle portion of the filter will create far too much 'water movement' and cause the CO2 to escape into the air. I shut my w/d down on my 180 planted tank and I only use two HOT Magnums with exhaust extentions to keep the water movement to a minimum.

The CO2 came with the tank so I will probably refill it and see how it does. Either way, it isn't gonna cost me much.

Sorry to correct everyone, but the ram is alone. I am afraid of agression in the fish, and I haven't been able to find any that compare in color.

And yes, that is my Altum angel. Isn't it gorgeous??? Just wait until I can get a pic of the pleco in there, its a dwarf species, but it looks identical to an L-128.

Well, I wanted to keep aggression down, because I loved my ram, and it didn't go how I planned. Apparently I have a rainbow who is very angry, he beat up and killed an emperor tetra and my beloved ram. If I find him, he will be oscar food.

Well it turns out the emperor tetras I added brought a disease. I lost 5 fish but I treated with Furan and it has cleared up. No losses in 4 days. I may add a new ram before I pull out the furan with some carbon.

There really isn't any order to the planting. IMO, its just a tank loaded with plants. Get some hardscape and work the plants around that. I've got plenty of pics I could send you for inspiration if you'd like.
