They both look underfed and the tank their in is small for them but yeah the stomach looks sunken in to me

I agree they are both under fed, the just arrived to me yesterday so they are in a quarantine tank.
I have been trying to feed them. Will definitely get them going on some veggies and sweet potatoes soon.
My guess was the bigger one being a female and the smaller one a male. But I have very little experience on venting plecos so hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

They need bigger tank, more chew-able driftwood and vegetables. And they need 48" * 36" * 24" tank at least in a long run. Basically, they don't like lights much. Dim light is preferred.
I can confirm they're both Cochliodons. Suttonorum has visible spikes protrudes from their sides and the color is more blue-ish. Head is rounder and bulkier body.
