How does everyone get so many different kinds? Where did you get yours? They're awesome!

My L-7, L-52 and L-264 came from a LFS. My L-204s were collected by a fellow PVAS (Potomac Valley Aquarium Society) member from Peru and sold some to me. My L-114s (and L-52) came from aquabid, snook21 (he has great plecs). I'd love to try a tank of L-134s (with discus); right now my 75 will be for the L-114s, L-52 and L-264 (and L-7 when it grows up) with Congo tetras.

Oh, I miss my Adonis so much. He got bloat and nothing fixed it.

This tank is a 55 gal; for now all the plecos are crammed into it.

I will move the larger plecos into a 125gal 6 foot long tank within a month or so.

I already have a FX5 and powerheads waiting in their boxes for the 125gal when it comes.


I got half my plecos from two LFS, the rest I ordered online.

Wow you're so lucky to have them. I basically can only go to Petsmart and they have 3 or 4 different kinds. I'm just going to get one or two of them, high fin spotted or rubber lip pleco lol sometimes they have albino chocolate ones, Im thinking about getting one of those

Dude try aquabid online. Lot of plecos for sale there.

the high fin spotted sounds like a marble sailfin,(gibbiceps)
they get huge...
