New Pleco Tank!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well this is the first time i've seen this particular guy out, maybe prefers mysis to bloodworms, who knows! still haven't determined the sex on any of the hypancistrus, yet, in fact sightings are few and far between. i always get the reclusives lol. found out that the leporacanthicus heterodon is a male though( put a pick in for kicks). even though i dont see them all often, the L260 is still my favourite loricariid

Can't blame ya for making these your faves. Def on my top 5 list to get!
Are you keeping those in "blackwater"? I'm keeping all of my SA fish in it these days and all of my pics look like I used an amber colored filter on the lens. Looks like you're there too!

i have a big piece of bogwood as a centrepiece, and a couple of smaller pieces and its the tannings. best thing i've ever done, soft water, perfect pH (although it was always 6.5 anyway), and my plecos couldnt be happier for it. its really good living for some species that are a bit more fussy about the water they breed in

Quality shots. Your arabesque look fantastic! I can only hope mine grow to look as nice as yours.

thanks, but they're very young at the moment, thats why the colours are vibrant. yours are close to twice the size as mine (if i remember correctly) and i am hoping that the colours dont fade and stick with them as well as yours has lol ;)
