New pleco!

That's a shame. I know what it's like to lose a few at the same time. It happened to me when I first got my tank and thought it was ready to be populated. Even the LFS had agreed that my tank was ready, but then it went through a 2nd cycle and wreaked havoc with my water balance. I had lost 2 plecos, 2 elephant nose fish, and 1 black ghost fish in that fiasco. Since then, everything has been fine with my water, and my fish have all been thriving.

Did you do anything that might have affected to water balance in your tank?

My tank has been established for months. I did a water change about 3 weeks ago and it's been fine up until I land in the hospital for a cat bite and get a call I lost my rhino pleco, Lima shovelnose, black convit and green Texas. I haven't noticed anything off and my fish were still eating and active like usual. So when I got home I just treated for ick to see if that helped and haven't lost anything since (treatment was started on Tuesday).

Yes but I just landed this tiny guy. Literally he's maybe 3/4 inch.
