the aquatic warehouse delhezi! lol, my buddy was gonna pick him up but it was too expensive, he has a little bump on his body if you didnt notice. - I'm guessing you paid the 110 dollars for it. good luck

nah, i noticed the bump, he said it'd go away. so he took off some for it. its larger then 6" thats for sure, looks longer and fatter then my 9" endli. you guys would be surprised on the prices of most bichirs in the area. all senegals are between 40-50 bux, ornates are anywhere from 50-150, never see any endli's anywhere, only 1 spot did have one and it was 100 bux. last ornate at aquatic was 140, there's a 9" ornate at pet kingdom for 80. so for bichirs in my area, and the size of the del compared to most available. seems i got a decent deal.

did you see my friends super big ornate at aquatic? it was like couple weeks back. :D

yah, i was gonna buy it but how can i at a price of 150 LOL. it was an awesome ornate tho. got a baby for 25 bux instead n its growing fast.

yah good call on the species kirk, 100 bux well spent. so can anyone clarify on how old you think this girl is? thinking about how slow delz grow id say shes pretty freakin old

lol, the big ornate for 150 at aquatic warehouse and the 9 inch one at pet kingdom were both mine..so how much did ya end up paying for the del. i was looking at it and got sam (works at aquatic warehouse) to only drop it down to $100 so i didnt pick it up, considereing it was only a del. ..but very good markings indeed.

very nice delhezi

Here's some pics of him next to a ruler to show its size. he's bigger then i thought pushing between 10-11" atleast and over 1.5" to 2" thick. great addition to other bichirs if u ask me. delhezi's are active as hell. and this is the biggest one i've seen of the delhezi's all in san diego. at the growth rate of slow growing delhezi's. i wonder how old this guy is.
