New poly(s) sort of

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay, so the first thing I see different in the Faranah and Dabola is the pattern. Both jaws and mine have a more broke up banding compared to this one. But as to the head shape, looks good but not significant enough for me to get a Faranah.... at least until I see better pics, lol

True true. JAWS faranah is still small and body is slender. Headshape doesnt stand out yet. As it starts to plump up and mature. The body grows outwards and the head remains flat. Patterns on endli is pretty much all similar, lol

Cant say much for sure about the faranah vs dabola i rember dr b saying that the faranah has more of a tan/brown base but i was never able to really see the difference but in oerson inwould definitely agree. There is something different about the headshape but nothing too pronounced yet. Fish is on the thin side.

Also noticed that there is more of a distinction between the white underside and the tan base color where as the dabola has less distinction between the white belly and the slate/brown base color.

Imo too early to tell until its settled in. Plus the lighting is garbage so we'll have to wait and see

Just demolished some cut fish never had a poly eat on day 1.

Its gonna be a beast in weeks if he keeps eating like that, one of my congi grew 1.5" in 2 weeks the other one 1" in two weeks cause it dosent eat crazy like the big one.

Changed the lighting just for the pic but really is a waste to try and compare the two. Faranah only in qt for 5 hrs.
