New Poly still wont eat...

Maybe it's not comfortable with the Delz around. Have you tried keeping him in a separate tank?
I keep my bichirs in a 2feet tank still. I had a sen that just keep to himself and never eat. I took him out a keep him in a separate tank. He starts eating vigorously. And today I just experiment. I put him back in the main tank and he's like the shy boy again.
I think tomorrow I'm gonna net him out again and super feed him till he gets much more bigger.
It could be size difference too that intimidates him..

haved you tried feeding it after you turn off the tank lights?

I thought my Lap had the same problem... Turns out she just prefers not to eat when I'm watching, or when the tank lights are on. She still doesn't have much of an appetite (compared to my Sens and BGK), but she does eat every couple of days - sometimes every day, but not much. Just enough to notice a little bulge in her stomach.

She also only attempted to eat pellets once. I feed her chopped up raw shrimp (frozen, then thawed), and chopped up Tilapia fillets (same thing, it's frozen, so I thaw it). I'm hopefully going to pick up some freeze-dried krill and/or some silversides next time I'm at the right place.

So basically, just wait it out some more, try feeding it with the lights off, and/or try some different things.

Good luck.
