I'll get some pictures later, after the acclimation period. It was labeled as a congicus. If anyone could point out the features of a congicus and post some pics, that would be great. I checked Anne's visual aid, but it wasn't there.
 
I know I know it needs to be finnished its on my to do list honest
 
i havent seen any pics yet... but my bet is you have a nigerian lapradei :)
i only say this because i have yet to see a fish store lable
a lapradei correctly... always says congicus :(

but we will give you a postive ID when you get some pics up :D

it's p.endi cong "wide stripe", from a china keeper with his name "HJS0512"

p.ec has 6-9 regular stripe, and dorsal fin 12-15 ,that is features of importance

this is a Polypterus polli (former called Polypterus palmas polli - but the taxonomia is revisited now) belonging to the Palmas-komplex.

Look at this pic, it's also a Polli (a bit darker due to the black gravel in the tank):
