We have rainy cloudy weather today, fiberglass has to be totally dry for me to lay glass. tommorow supposed to run my boat. probably start glassing next weekend. I have to bondo gaps in the seams to make it nice and level and grind one panel on the perimeter[they didn`t grind the gelcoat all the way off on one of the panels seams,so I have to] Seams need to be as free of gelcoat as possible , fiberglass adheres better to fiberglass than gelcoat. Everything relies on me doing proffessional glass work on the seams or they might leak, no shortcuts. Yeah, the panel that I have to grind was on the bottom of the stack of panels when I got them ,thats all I am gonna say about that. Personally I kinda dont like working with glass , but I do when I have to, and have alot of experiance with it. I did alot of fabrication/repair on a commercial boat I worked on and other personal boats I have owned. It is never fun, but the results can be amazing!
