A question no one has asked, what r u gonna do with that amazing peice of monster fishkeeping in the event of a hurricane????????? I live in the ft lauderdale area and was just wondering.:D I was thinking of doing an outdoor pond (much smaller tho) and was worried about the monsters in the sky.

Oh and total admiration of that beautiful mini lake  is def in order.:jaw-dropp

All the water pushing out, pretty solid for wind and debris. The fiberglass is on average about one quarter in. thick . A 25 ft. boat sitting in your backyard with comparable hull thickness is usally just a few scratches on the hull. I expect the same. Have a generator also.:)

Tripletail, get off your butt and take some more pics! Hurry up too :D :D :D hhahah

Well, looks like I set my project back awhile. Today while working on the pond I noticed all the viewing windows are cracked where they are bolted to the fiberglass. It seems when myself and my buddy moved that panel into place, we flexed it enough to cause cracks in all 3 windows. I have to now remove panels and redo with new polycarbonate and silicone. Rather than use just big fender washers, which are on there now, I am thinking I am going to make a starboard retaining square for the inside of the polycarbonate window to clamp and distribute pressure from the bolts more evenly over entire window. That way I wont worry about it cracking again.
