New pond, need filtration ideas

The sponges won't be and the canisters are normally rated for more then they really are. You may be able to get away with it but you should post in the pond section. I was going to do the same thing as you with my pond filter get a large canister but everyone on the pond thread said go DIY but hopefully it works out for you

Thanks. I still don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe DIY if it can meet my grandmas criteria.
