New pond, New leaf, All natural (almost)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there is like a few thousand types of aquatic plants.... anacharis is good... swords... banana plants... hyacynths are excellent....plants are plants... and i would consider going more on the bio filter handles the load and then use plants more for nitrates... in the event if the plants die you wont have a ammonia spike

a sump below the pond or tank set up right is flood proof... but above is fine.... you didnt follow what i said... use your sump for all your bio.... let that run the system for awhile... then add your plants... if for what ever reason (meds whatever) your plants started to die or died off then your filter is still running your system at full capacity and you wont get the wonderfull ammonia spike that could kill your rays...
