New pond

ill be building a new pond soon for my sturgeon (siberian and sterlet) it will be 20'x11'x6' and i was just wondering if anyone had any unusual suggestions for fish to live with the sturgeon, max temp is 25 celcius and min is just under 0

What kind of filtration are you going to have

(3) Tench, (1) Pike, (6) Golden Orfe, (1)Paddlefish, (.5) Wels cat .

How about a couple of eels.

order is just about to be placed for those paddlefish too, price is down a lil tho nout fantastic still....

Im thinking bout tryna acquire a pike for my pond at the mo but duno where to begin to look???
I like barbel and zander but have doubts you would be able to see in something that deep....

Go Esox (northern pike)!!! You would be the first MFKer not in Singapore to have one, i think ^^ errr not sure who will end up lunch: pike or sturgeon though

I have a pond in my yard, and also a sturgeon.
He swimms together with an 8" zander (familly of the walleye), 3 redfin/Europeanperches , 3 sunfish and, 4 goldfish. O yeah, and also a lot of minnows as feeders for the perches and zander.

have you tried wharf aquatics i think they sometimes get them in.

I might just get a 1 or 2 more varieties of sturgeon and an albino sterlet
