I might just get a 1 or 2 more varieties of sturgeon and an albino sterlet
i assume since i can barely get my hands on any sturgeon species here that i could ever find an albino ... that being said, can you get them easily where you are? what kind of price are they?
thanks

and as for the pond, you are awesome! give me 5-10 years, and my posts will be all over here about my sturgeon pond (or if i'm rich my TANK that is in the 1000s of gallons :))
and yes, somehow, some way, i will have some sweet species besides the sterlets and whites that are commonly sold in the US!

Ill and get some pics but its hard since they are in the pond at the moment i have acipenser baerii (about 30") and a. baerii x ruthenus (about 18")

i assume since i can barely get my hands on any sturgeon species here that i could ever find an albino ... that being said, can you get them easily where you are? what kind of price are they?
thanks
Albino ruthenus round here are upwards of £70 ($140)depending on size
standard ruthenus: upwards of £10 ($20)
baerii: upwards of £10 ($20)
gueldenstaedtii: upwards of £20 ($40)
stellatus: upwards of £70 ($140)
Oh and i saw a transmontanus for the first time ever today for £25

Oh and their fairly easy to get over here
baerii and gueldenstaedtii are the most commonly sold but a shop about an hour from me has the best selection of sturgeon i have ever seen and often has baerii upwards of 48"
