New potential ray owner

A lfs has a bunch of very small rays labeled "teacup" rays. Some of them kind of look like motoros and others don't show many markings. I guess they could be hybrids. I saw some of them kind of doing the "death curl" I have heard about. They wouldn't stay that way but almost to be stretching.

Apparently they are eating ghost shrimp right now. I have black worms I trying to culture. Do these rays seem ok for my 150g?

Stock right now is jardini arowana, 2 10 inch bichirs, clown loaches, flagtail and a florida gar(I may or may not keep).
 
A friend of mine had a new motoro pup and a 4in clown loach together, the clown killed it in about a week. Looked like it ate the slime coat off and the thin edge of his disc. Took a good chunk out. I've never been a fan of having other fish in with pups. I know a lot of raykeepers do but it's just not worth it to me.
 
May not make a difference but all of the loaches are under 3 1/2 inches.
 
JARDINI arowana nasty fish mate and deffo not temperment of asians would never put rays with this fella in the system
our jardini ate 7inch silver sharks for fun, and also bit a 16inch ali gar in half, get rid mate ours was 20"" and near 8" deep

now lives in a bar/bistro in london ON HIS OWN lol
 
I just dont like any other bottom feeders or especially a pleco in with a ray. Just my opinion though.
 
Jardini is only about 8 inches right now. Still no aggression to tank mates.

I was unaware that the clown loaches sometimes sucked on slime coat. :( Guess I should change stock up if I want ray.
 
Currently have 14 loaches in with 2 motoros and have had zero problems. If you do it just watch everybody, you never no what can happen. Always good to have a backup tank if things go bad. Also feeding can be a pain.
 
mate if ya want rays bin the jardini for a start at 8 inch it is still at baby stage once 12inch all hell will break loose and you will have a sp. only tank lol
 
Yeah. I am hoping that by keeping him (jardini) with tank mates bigger or equal size for most part (gar and flag tail) he may not be aggressive.
 
imop two hopes buddy bob hope and no hope!!!!!!!! never seen it work yet! they are just terminators of all around them
my mate has an 11 inch was in with tiger oscars at 12inch plus and he distroyed the lot
